Influence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in sugarcane productivity under semiarid tropical agro ecosystem in India
Impact of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in sugarcane productivity was assessed through a field experiment from plant and ratoon sugarcane in Tamil Nadu, India. Control, 12.5 and 18.75 kg ha-1 of AMF along with 75% and 100% of phosphorous application were triedas treatments. 18.75 kg ha-1 AMF applied plots showed significant difference in germination percentage, tiller number, internode...
متن کاملEradicating Sugarcane Yellow Leaf Virus in Sugarcane Variety N32 through Tissue Culture
Yellow Leaf Syndrome of sugarcane is caused by Sugarcane Yellow Leaf Virus (SCYLV) and/or Sugarcane Yellows Phytoplasma (SCYP). Using tissue blot immunoassay to determine the presence of SCYLV, leaf samples of sugarcane variety N32 taken from a propagation plot at Mount Edgecombe all tested positive. In this study, two methods of tissue culture were used in an attempt to eradicate SCYLV from N3...

A polynomial complexity algorithm is designed which tests whether a point belongs to a given tropical linear variety.
متن کاملAn Algorithm for Lifting Points in a Tropical Variety
The aim of this paper is to give a constructive proof of one of the basic theorems of tropical geometry: given a point on a tropical variety (defined using initial ideals), there exists a Puiseux-valued “lift” of this point in the algebraic variety. This theorem is so fundamental because it justifies why a tropical variety (defined combinatorially using initial ideals) carries information about...
